The Garden Room
About This Spot
Stepping into The Garden Room is like entering a quietly enchanting hideaway nestled within the bustling rhythm of Atlanta. The soft murmur of conversation flows beneath a canopy of lush greenery and elegant touches, inviting guests to slow down and savor the moment. It’s a place where the pace feels unhurried yet alive, striking a delicate balance between refined comfort and spirited energy.
The atmosphere here melds the vibrant warmth of a welcoming lounge with the thoughtful intimacy of a well-loved neighborhood spot. Whether you're seeking a relaxed evening with friends or an intimate dinner, The Garden Room wraps you in a subtle glow of thoughtful design and easy conviviality. The space hums with life, yet feels personal—a setting where every shared glance or laughter feels quietly celebrated.
In this setting, the food and drinks become part of the unfolding story rather than a checklist. From cocktails with clever twists to dishes that reveal layered craftsmanship, each bite and sip invites discovery. Think of moments where the crisp brightness of a cucumber salad complements the unexpected luxury of black truffle pillows, or where the richness of lobster mac & cheese meets the playful allure of a French 75. These flavors feel deliberate without being showy, crafted to enhance a gathering rather than dominate it.
The attentive service blends seamlessly with the ambiance, offering care without intrusion, allowing conversations to flow freely and memories to form naturally. It’s a place where celebrations feel just a bit more magical, where the thoughtful details in both design and menu create a quietly unforgettable experience.
For those who wander in seeking more than just a meal or a drink, The Garden Room offers a gentle invitation—to linger, to connect, and to discover the quiet joy found in shared moments and carefully crafted surroundings.

I had been wanting to go to the Garden Room on and off for a few years. I'd make reservations, than after reading all the reviews, decide to cancel. The reviews were consistently hit or miss, great or bad, nothing consistent. This year, my husband ended up taking me to dinner here for my birthday. We knew the place would be beautiful. But quit frankly after extensive reviews, youtube and social media we both had very low expectations regarding the food and waitstaff. Chris was our server, he was outstanding 10+ stars easily. He was very personalable, warm and friendly and instant "friend". Not rude or stuffy, but extremely helpful. The food, again we had zero expectations. But I can honestly say it was the best meal ever. We had focaccia bread, again best ever and I make a pretty mean homemade loaf myself but it beat mine. We had the short ribs for our entree. You could eat it with a spoon, it was very tender, rich and decadent. It was seasoned to perfection. I hate salty food, it had the perfect amount a slight hint. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant, the ambiance, food and entire staff. They treated us like royalty from valet parking to escorting us out of the restaurant through the crowd. The music was turned up during our visit just before people started pouring it. Where we were seated (right under a speaker), it did become a bit loud we asked if they could turn it down just a hair and the did. The serving portions were on the smaller side, but it was more than plenty for us and again very rich and decadent. The desserts were excellent as well as thier coffe. I highly recommend this place, and we will be going back soon. Note there is valet parking at the hotel, you go inside the hotel up to the 4th floor (which is actually the next floor up), turn immediate right and cut throught the hotel, Just outside on the right. The valet parking was very fast and organized both entering & exsiting. The restaurant will stamp your card so it's only $15.00, for up to 8 hrs. So even parking is not an issue. Beautiful place.

The ambience was stunningly beautiful, the service was fine tuned and the wine was delicious. The environment was LOUD to the point that I could hardly have a conversation with the person sitting next to me, mostly due to the other patrons acting like they were the only ones in the restaurant, which is the only reason atmosphere got 4/5 stars. The food was good, I don’t want to distract from that because that is critical point, but as others have repeatedly pointed out, the portion sizes of the entrees were mildly irritating compared to the price point. If you're hungry, you’ll need to order a couple apps because the entree alone will not suffice. With a couple drinks, apps and entrees, plan to spend ~$100 per person in your party.

I have to say this was an experience to be had. Every single thing from the time we walked in, sat down, ate and walked out was splendid and delicate in every way. The time spent on the drinks and food can be told with how amazing everything tasted. Will recommend to anyone and everyone

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at the most enchanting spot in Atlanta! We had an incredible brunch at The Garden Room in the St. Regis. From the lush greenery to the exquisite menu, every moment felt like a fairytale. My wife couldn't stop smiling as she enjoyed every moment of the experience from the food & drinks, the aesthetics, the service, and of course the atmosphere. If you’re looking for the ultimate date spot or a place to celebrate a special occasion, this is it! Although, we did not get a full body photo of the two of us, I think that we looked pretty good and dressed for the occasion. Let me know what you think. We definitely look forward to the next visit. #TheGardenRoom #AtlantaEats #StRegisAtlanta #AnniversaryBrunch #ATLFoodie #DateNightATL #AtlantaHiddenGems

We had brunch at The Garden Room for my wife’s birthday, and I still can’t stop thinking about it. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a beautifully curated dream. The service was impeccable not overly formal, but attentive in all the right ways. Our server checked on us just enough to make us feel cared for without interrupting our conversation. When a menu item wasn’t available, she courteously offered alternatives and even went back and forth with the chef so we could mix a few special requests into our dishes. That level of flexibility and genuine effort stood out to me. The Garden Room is tucked into Buckhead, at 88 W Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA, in the Buckhead Plaza area. If you’re navigating there, Google Maps will take you straight in. Once you arrive, valet parking is your go-to option: it’s provided via the St. Regis Atlanta, and costs about $15 after validation. Be sure to validate your ticket with the host stand when you arrive. Because The Garden Room is quite popular and often busy, I’d highly recommend making a reservation well in advance especially for weekend brunch. The ambiance is enchanting: lush floral décor, whimsical touches, and a vibe that feels festive yet intimate. If you’re planning to go, here’s a quick tip: arrive with enough time to work through valet and walk-in steps, because parking and entrance can take a moment during peak hours. Also, their menu changes seasonally, so don’t be surprised if what you saw online isn’t exactly what’s offered that day the staff is usually gracious about swapping or modifying when possible. Overall, the level of service we experienced made it one of the best brunches I’ve ever given as a gift.

We absolutely loved this place! Even though we came with kids, the staff was incredibly attentive — our waitress was so kind and caring. They brought us drinks and even gave our kids little toys that were part of the decor, which was such a sweet touch! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere felt truly special. One of those places you can’t wait to come back to!
